What Zella's World is all about — and who's behind it.
Zella's World is designed for preschoolers ages 2–5 and focuses on early childhood learning through storytelling, music, pretend play and gentle social-emotional lessons. Episodes encourage curiosity, problem-solving, kindness, empathy and imaginative play while creating a safe, comforting viewing experience for young children.
For more than 25 years, Sheila Rogerson has created stories for young audiences across television, film and digital media. As a writer, director, producer, editor and performer, she has contributed to children's programming for Disney, Nick Jr., Treehouse TV, CBC Kids, PBS and more.
Inspired by a lifelong passion for early childhood storytelling, she created Zella's World to encourage curiosity, kindness, imagination and joyful learning through original songs and everyday adventures.
Today, she continues to write, direct, produce and voice the series, combining decades of experience in children's entertainment with new creative technologies to bring Zella's World to families around the world.
